The Central Chamber of Commerce puts on the The Land O' Lakes Flapjack Festival in November and serves FREE Flapjacks on Saturday from 8am -10am. The Festival is held on the Land O' Lakes Community Center property on Highway 41 in the heart of Pasco. It began 25 years ago, in 1977, when a group of community clubs got together to put on an event that would provide fun, food and entertainment for the entire community. The FREE flapjacks were offered for the first time in 1983 and the Land O' Lakes Butter Company of Minnesota supplied the butter that year and every year since. Since those small beginnings the festival has grown every year to the point where it has become not only the biggest event in the community, but an event that attracts visitors from surrounding counties and across the country. Local residents have come to know that the change of seasons in Land O' Lakes - from a long and sultry summer to a cool, tropical autumn - is evident when the scent of fall is in the air. It smells like Flapjacks. And it's something to flip over! Let Dan Turner find House... for your Home. Today!
